About Me:
Matthew was locally raised on a farm in Kiwitahi near Morrinsville and attended St Paul’s collegiate in Hamilton.
Matthew attended Otago University where he studied and obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree. Upon graduation, Matthew worked for a short period of time in Tauranga before joining with Richard Rae initially as a Solicitor prior to becoming a Partner in 1997.
Matthew has a wide practice experience covering most aspects of Commercial and Litigation Law, allowing him the privilege of being a true family lawyer who can handle or advise on most matters which might affect a family.
His practice includes:
- Rural and Urban Conveyancing;
- Business transactions;
- Trusts;
- Companies;
- Wills and Estates;
- Powers of Attorney;
- He accepts appointments from the Court to act for children in the Youth Court for criminal matters;
- All aspects of separation negotiation and Litigation; and
- Criminal Court Litigation in both Judge alone and jury trial jurisdiction.
